Includes his early life and his experiences with USAID Asia Bureau as economist in Bangladesh, 1971-72; introducing family planning in Bangladesh and Tanzania; in Washington with USAID Policy Bureau, 1977; in Indonesia as mission economist, 1979; in Kenya, 1983; at the Federal Executive Institute; as Mission Director in Tanzania, 1987; assigned to the Senior Seminar, 1991-93; as Chief of the Development Planning Office, Latin American Bureau, 1992-94; and as USAID Mission Director in Zambia, 1994-96.
