1 Tms recording the prepared remarks contained in the commemorative Symposium, "Eisenhower and USIA," on the occasion of Eisenhower's 100th birthday. The symposium was sponsored by the USIA Alumni Association and the Public Diplomacy Foundation and took place at Fort McNair in Washington D.C. on October 11, 1990. Abbott Washburn, Deputy Director of the USIA during the entire Eisenhower administration served as moderator. Includes remarks by Burnett Anderson, James Halsema, Hans Tuch, Barry Zorthian, Henry Loomis, Frank Shakespeare and James Keogh. Edited by Hans Tuch and G. Lewis Schmidt.
