Includes her experience in the State Department Civil Service, 1945-56; as a Political Officer in Bonn, Germany, 1960-63; as Deputy Director and Director at UNP, 1963-69; at the Senior Seminar, 1969; as Political Counselor in Athens, Greece, 1970-75, and as Deputy Chief of Mission in the Hague, Netherlands, beginning in 1975. Also includes comments on the relationship of civil service with foreign service.
