Container Summary

1 TM's FAOH (Foreign Service Spouse Oral History). Contains an interview of Marvin (Mary) Breckinridge Patterson conducted by Jewell Fenzi. This interview documents the life of a photographer, filmmaker, broadcaster, Foreign Service wife, and philanthropist from the years of 1939-1986. It contains information about her posts in Berlin, Germany (1940-41); Brussels, Belgium (1945-46); Cairo, Egypt(1946-50); Athens, Greece (1950-52); Montevideo, Uruguay (1956-58). The bulk of the Oral History is relating to Mrs. Patterson's time in Berlin, Germany. The History also contains supplemental materials relating to other published work, and her education.
