Wiseman, Nicholas Patrick. Cardinal. Archbishop of Westminster. Autograph Letter Signed to "My dear Lord," 4 pages. Dated 2/21/1850. A lengthy letter concerning "Rev. Mr. Jones" who had just died in St. Leonards. Jones was a man of considerable property and wealth which he wished to use in the service of the church but could not get on with the recipients of his bounty. Gift of Joseph E. Jeffs and Jeannine L. Jeffs.
