Serra, Junipero. Autograph Document Signed (in Spanish), 2 pages. Dated 12/9/1779. Also, Autograph Letter Signed from Alexander S. Taylor to George W. Riggs, 4 pages, dated 11/21/1853, requesting a copy of his book and promising to send him a copy of anything he publishes. Taylor explains that he is collecting information about the California missions; sent from Monterey, California to New York. These letters were a gift of Alice Riggs in 1920.
