1 Autograph Letter Signed dated 1/20/1862 from President Abraham Lincoln to General George B. McClellan, regarding George Patten, who said he was a loyal South Carolinian. McClellan's reply is written on the bottom part of the same letter, and he presumes Patten will make a good officer. Gift of Mrs. Morton Feary.
