Container Summary
Hancock, John. Engraving of John Hancock's House: "Hancock House." Also, engraving of Hancock dated 1765 with his signature. And, 1 Autograph Letter Signed dated 2/16/1767 from Hancock to Mathew Woodford at Southampton, regarding payments; sent from Boston. "Hancock House" engraving was presented to Georgetown by William T. Connolly in 1887. The Hancock letter was given to Rev. John B. Guida, S.J. of Georgetown by Charles P. Greenough, who had received it from Charles L. Hancock, grandnephew of John Hancock.
