Chesterton, G.K. Typed Letter Signed to Henry John, 2 pages. Dated 7/19/19??, probably 1920s. Regarding work of John's that Chesterton was reviewing. Henry John, a classmate of Tom Burns, was the son of the painter Augustus John. Burns wrote that John was a writer of genius and as a boy at Stonyhurst sent his poems to Chesterton for the latter's opinion. John died cliff-climbing circa 1925. Acquired from Tom Burns, 1979.
