Container Summary

Correspondence to Harman Grisewood from Peter B. Hodgkinson. TLS dated 3/19/1964 accompanying a typed manuscript of the latter's reminiscences of life in Nicosia, Cyprus while on training exercises with the British army. Includes references to Cypriot culture and scenery as well as to meeting and enjoying the company of the Grisewood family in Nicosia: "...we met...some good friends, the Grisewoods, who...lived in a spacious old Turkish house...and every evening would entertain personalities to drinks in the lovely old courtyard..." Includes TL dated 3/23/1964 from Harman Grisewood.
