Reference to incident involving the interception of a German boat by Gabriel Grisewood's Cyprus Regiment: "...Tucks had great fun out of it all & liked the single civilian Italian of the party -- who Tucks managed to get off being shot -- Tucks asked the commanding German "What do you think of your yellow allies?" & the German replied "They seem no worse than your Red ones"!!!..." 2. ALS dated 8/4/1942. Reference to having "a most satisfactory 61st birthday..."; and other family news.
