Correspondence to Harman Grisewood from his mother. Written from Nicosia, Cyprus. ALS dated 5/9/1941 (+envelope). Reference to birth of daughter Lucy to Gabriel and Olive Grisewood; and to Bernard McElligott, Tom Burns, and a hoped-for visit from Peter Venables. ALS dated 7/17, 1941. Reference to the Battle of Crete (May 1941) the circumstances from which Gabriel Grisewood escaped due to an illness that kept him in Alexandria.
