Container Summary
1 Autographed Letter Signed dated 03/19/1880 from Alexander Strahan to Julian Hawthorne written on the letterhead of Strahan & Co., Ltd. rebuking him for a letter he wrote to Sampson Low, Marston & Co. in which he challenged Strahan's legal right to sell the story "Yellow-Cap". He makes a case that Hawthorne has not been truthful with Sampson Low, Marston & Co. and that he is greatly indebted to Strahan, who does have authorization to sell Hawthorne's story.
