1 Autographed Letter Signed dated 03/28/1880 from Julian Hawthorne to Francis Bennoch regarding the sale of the story "Yellow-Cap", and the possible necessity of bringing legal action against Sampson Low, Marston & Co. to prevent the breaking of his copyright. He mentions the "probability" of receiving the Japanese Consulate, and that his family would most likely move to Japan permanently in that case. Reference to life insurance and Alexander Strahan. Sent from St. John's Wood, London, England.
