Container Summary

1 Autographed Letter Signed dated 06/22/1879 from Julian Hawthorne to Francis Bennoch informing him that he has learned, on his birthday, that he can expect to be arrested that week, but that Charles Dickens, Jr. has suggested that he will send Hawthorne payment for his work in July and Hawthorne may be able to avoid imprisonment. Reference to Mr. J. M. Morriss.
