Container Summary

This folder contains 7 ALS from Emily Maxwell to Ned O'Gorman and 1 blank card addressed to William Maxwell, possibly an unreturned R.S.V.P. (?) 1 ALS c.1999 sending love for O'Gorman's 70th birthday. Reference to her husband, William Maxwell, having pneumonia and her own cancer treatments. References to Anna Pavlova and to Howard Hodgkin. 2 of the letters discuss a painting of O'Gorman's that the Maxwells purchased.
