Regarding the birth of his second son, Michael, Richey writes, "What luck having another boy!" 1 ALS dated 7/12/1917 Reference to Lady Ellerman: "Try and get her to stand Godmother and if you like I'll ask Dugdale? to be his Godfather." 1 ALS dated 7/14/1917 Richey has moved with his Battalion to somewhere outside of France.
