Container Summary

3 ALS from Michael Richey to his parents, George and Adelaide Richey. 1 ACS from Etienne to "Mon cher Michael." *from Richey's notes: "These letters of about 1926 from Cliftonville were when my father was already in Albania, where my mother and my brother Paul joined him later. He, my father, was assistant inspector general of the gendarmerie under first of all President and then King Zog. The card from Etienne was clearly to acknowledge a x-mas card his mother told him I had sent but he had not received. He was I think the son (aged, say, 8) of the French Minister. The French is interestingly impeccable."
