Contains newspaper clippings from local North Carolina newspapers pertaining to Adlai Stevenson's political career. The clippings focus on his second presidential campaign in 1956, and also follow Elizabeth Ives' involvement in the campaigns. The clippings were presumably saved by Theta Juanita Pitts. Arranged chronologically.

24 Newspaper clippings regarding either Adlai Stevenson or his sister, Elizabeth Ives. Most are from the year following Stevenson's loss to Eisenhower in the presidential election. Clipping dated 7/15/1965 reports Stevenson's death. Clippings are from North Carolina newspapers including The News and Observer from Raleigh and The Pilot from Southern Pines.
