Autograph letter signed from Alexander Tremaine Wright to William J. Carlton dated April 27, 1914. Discusses the resurgence of the Willis-Byrom Club and remarks that among shorthand writers, "Most of them wish they had never known shorthand and regard me as a demented sort of creature to take even the limited interest I do in the literature of the subject." References to Dr. Christian Johnen's "Archiv" and a "Bibliography" he might work with Julius Ensign Rockwell on for publication by the Club.
