Container Summary

ALS dated September 27, 1879 from Nicholas Fish at the Legation of the United States at Berne to A.S. Cushman. The letter mentions 3 enclosures, one from the Secretary of War to the Secretary of the Treasury, another from the superintendent of the Coast Survey to the Secretary of the Treasury and a third with extracts of Mr. Cushman's conversations with the president. Enclosures not present.
