Original pen-and-ink drawing, 11 by 7 3/4 inches, [April 1865], depicting the exterior front, exterior rear, and stage of Ford's Theatre and a carefully annotated drawing of the escape route taken by John Wilkes Booth immediately following the shooting of President Abraham Lincoln. Shows the various parts of Ford's Theater and the escape route taken by Booth out of Ford's Theater.
