1 undated AM: "Pawnee [vocabulary]," 2 parts, with ANS by William Wadden Turner, 38 pages. Also, 1 ALS dated 7/4/1877 from John Gilmary Shea to the editor of the "Saline County [Nebraska] News," in response to an article criticizing his article on the Pawnees in "Appleton's American Encyclopedia," 8 pages. The printed version of the letter, which was published in the "Saline County Union" on 7/26/1877, is also retained in this folder, 1 page.
