Consists of documents, mostly correspondence, by and about members of the Ord family other than Edward Otho Cresap Ord and Edward Otho Cresap Ord II. Notable family members represented in this series include historian Bernarr Cresap, American Civil War veteran John S. Mason Jr., Lucy Maude Ord, Pacificus Ord, James Ord, World Wars veteran James Garesche Ord, medical doctor James Lycurgus Ord, and Placidus Ord, among many others. Of special interest is a near-complete run of the family history periodical 'Cresap Society Bulletin' for 1935-1956, some documents about King George IV of England and Mrs. Fitzherbert, and a wealth of letters detailing Ord family history. Materials arranged alphabetically by individual.

Includes June 1942 issue of "Pennsylvania Guardsman."
