He also recounts the day he accompanied Edward Livingston on his visit to the home of Admiral De Rigny, France's Minister of Foreign Affairs, where he once again encountered important political figures such as,the Duke of Orleans, Carlo Andrea Pozzo di Borgo, Count D'Apponyi, and Lord Granville (p.318).
