Container Summary

7 AJE dated 7/13/1834-7/19/1834 describing the remainder of JPB's travels through Switzerland, particularly his arrival in Savoy where a Polish uprising had been attempted the previous winter. Also included in these entries are more of JPB's comments on current European political affairs as he refers to England as the victim of anarchy and mentions that Don Carlos managed to elude French police during a trip from France to Spain. Pages 42-45
