Container Summary
1 ALS from Z. T. Miller to his mother Ann Miller. Text suggests letter sent from Maryland, presumably in July 1863. Comment about high prices in Maryland compared to Virginia. Miller complains that the farmers he has seen in Maryland and Pennsylvania have depended on the army for defense and not asked for a gun and permission to join the ranks. Letter numbered "105" in pen.
