1 ALS from Z. T. Miller to his mother Ann Miller. Mention of rumors that Ambrose Burnside resigned. Speculation that troops will be sent to join William S. Rosecrans in Tennessee. Reference to a sign put up by Confederate troops: "Burnside Stuck in the mud." Commentary on deserters. Reference to Carl Schurz not obtaining a promotion and to Julius Stahel's promotion. Sent from camp near Falmouth, Virginia.
