Comment on the strategic Thoroughfare Gap. Reference to passing over part of the Bull Run battlefield where some of the dead were only half-buried. Reference to Franz Sigel's order to burn a mill where Confederates sniped at Union men. Sent from Thoroughfare Gap, Virginia.
