Correspondence to Katherine Biddle from baritone Wilbur Evans who performed Biddle's choral poem "Plain Chant for America," which premiered under the baton of John Barbirolli and the New York Philharmonic-Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, October 1941: ALS 11/3/1941 (2 pages w/ envelope) and 2 telegrams dated 3/24/1943 and 3/25/1943 about a recording of a broadcast of a performance of the poem by Evans.
