3 b/w photographs (all 8"x10") dated 2/10/1958 of Parker T. Hart: 1 photo of Hart being sworn in as U.S. Ambassador to Jordan (an appointment that aborted because of a federation between Jordan and Iraq), with Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, Rifai of Jordan, and Protocol Officer C. Charles Spouks (?) standing by. 1 photo of Hart shaking hands with Dulles, and 1 photo of Hart seated prepared to sign a document. The photographs were taken by Herbert J. Meyle of the State Department. Also includes large envelope which held the photos and 2 brief autograph notes about them.
