1 TLS dated 11/24/1961 from Lyndon B. Johnson, Vice President of the United States, to Parker T. Hart, American Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, thanking him for sending a note about Bashir Ahmed's mission to Mecca. Sent from Washington, DC to Jidda, Saudi Arabia. Also, 1 undated ACS (with envelope and attached White House stationary, found in a folder among Hart's papers originally labeled "summer of 1966"), from Johnson, then President of the United States, to Hart wishing him a speedy return to full health: sent from the White House along with flowers to Bethesda Naval Hospital.
