Consists of 21 folders containing correspondence between Lawrence Gilman and members of his family, mostly regarding family news. Of interest are letters between Gilman and his daughter Betty and his aunts Julia S. Bristol and Caroline T. Gilman. Letters from Lawrence Gilman to family members come first, arranged alphabetically by last name of correspondent. Letters to Lawrence from family members come next, also arranged alphabetically by last name of correspondent.
