Weislogel to her parents Catherine and George Weislogel with references to the Institute of International Education (IIE), some of her colleagues from work, Millie Baughman, Mary Hoke, Walter Reuther's speech in San Francisco, her work with the Asia-Western Major Project committee, preparations for International Theatre Month, Howard Hanson, Isaac Stern, Samuel Barber, movie star Lew Ayres, composer Eugene Ormandy, a conference of Christians and Muslims sponsored by the American Friends of the Middle East, archaeologist Kenan Erim, her boss at the United Nations Educational Scientific & Cultural Organization Guy Lee, and Union Junior College (UJC, now Union County Community College in New Jersey), and personal matters. Both letters are addressed from Washington, D.C. Winifred Weislogel left the Institute of International Education in New York to join the State Department in August 1956.
