Contains the following miscellaneous material pertaining to Arthur Ransome's book "The Fool of the World and the Flying Ship:" 1 ALS dated 6/18/1969 from Uri Shulevitz, award-winning illustrator for the book, to Frank Kurt Cylke, collector of Ransome materials, explaining why he chose to illustrate Ransome's book. 1 undated printed brief biographical sketch of Uri Shulevitz from "Book News from Farrar, Straus & Giroux." 1 printed pamphlet: "The Newberry and Caldecott Awards Dinner: 1969," at which Uri Shulevitz won the Caldecott Medal for illustrating "Fool of the World." 1 printed poster: "Caldecott Medal," showing the books which won the award from 1938 to 1969.
