Contains 1 ALS dated September 29, 1953, from Arthur and Evgenia Ransome to Helena Hirst referring to the Hirsts' stay in New York. Mentioning that he and his wife would miss the Hirsts while they were in New York, Ransome wrote, "Now don't disappear altogether behind the fogs of the Atlantic. Do, please remember that no one's hand of write is more delightedly recognized than yours, and that the most welcome letter you can write is the one in which you tell us when you are coming home."
