Consists of correspondence falling mostly between the years 1972 and 1985 from various individuals to William H. Natcher. The individuals include government agency administrators, members of Congress, Democratic Party officials, leaders of interest groups and unions, Kentucky state leaders, and celebrities. Much of the correspondence pertains to matters of Congressional appropriations and legislation. The correspondence is arranged alphabetically by name of correspondent.

6 TL from groups of members of the United States House of Representatives to WHN. 1 TL dated 10/23/73 contains a resolution directing the Judiciary Committee to investigate the grounds for impeachment of Richard M. Nixon. Other letters include references to a resolution praising Wernher Von Braun (1976), the limited arms embargo imposed against Turkey (1978), the guilty pleas by Emily and William Harris to the charge of kidnaping Patricia Hearst (1978), and a Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) (1985).
