O'Mahony into ethical practices of multinational companies and subsidiaries, undertaken on behalf of the Archdiocese of Birmingham, a shareholder in many of the companies. Note: Typed carbon letter from Fr. O'Mahony to Taylor (1/10/1908): "...In reality the present study applies not only to South Africa but to all sensitive areas where the Archdiocese has shares. What I am seeking is information about the implementation of the E.E.C. (European Economic Committee) Code of Conduct for Member States where investment in South Africa is concerned. I wish to know how many Member States are, in fact, failing to meet the requirements of the Code of Conduct..."
