Container Summary
Contains TLS, 2 pages/2 sheets. Addressed from the Reform Club [London]. Sent to Jimmy in Australia, Belloc asks for his impression of the two societies: "Do you not find the contrast to the constraint of life here in England, where everything is designed for the control by the small rich class and their pleasure? Of course we in England have the advantage of complete order and content after a fashion, but I get very tired of the lack of equality." Belloc also discusses how his ill-health has effected his work and provides a description of an apartment he has recently let in Paris.
