Contains TLS, 2 pages/1 sheet. On letterhead for the British Legation at Vienna. Reference to Belloc's travels to visit the Napoleonic battlefields for his new book on Napoleon, together with his reaction to a recently completed painting of Belloc and Chesterton by artist Jimmy [James] Gun: "I think it quite first-rate, especially the way he has caught Gilbert Chesterton. I am horrified to see the accumulation of wickedness in my own face - it is due to the length of years."
