Contains TL, 4 pages/4 sheets. On Reform Club [London] letterhead. Proposal by Belloc to publish a newspaper, "The Road", that was directed toward the increasing popularity of road travel: "My own name is of value for such a venture. I am very widely known for my writing upon the road. People are perpetually writing to me about it, and I am always being asked to lecture upon it. I have the pulse of the public in that matter and, I can testify that the interest is increasing rapidly indeed." [with Belloc's handwritten corrections in the text]
