Contains TLS, 3 pages/3 sheets. Reference to the beggers found in Jidda: "Here, begging is an honorable profession and is passed from father to son. . . All day long they sit in a shaded corner, or sleep on the ledges or front porches . . . Then at noon and against the sunset they stir and begin to move about the city shouting at the top of their voices 'God is merciful' until their hunger is satisfied from handouts."
