Addressed from Monksdene, Harrow, Middlesex. @ "Dear Walter, Many thanks for letter & photograph just now (or to continue with a further example of Welsh English "now just"). The photograph does definitely recall the making of the drawing, but fails to recall the place, time & circumstances of its being made. Yes, I see what you mean by Ezra Poundish, in the face, I remember the hand - and I recall, or half recall, Desmond's giggle at the drawing of the little finger - the slight elegance conveyed. As a matter of fact that gives a very authentic note, don't you think?..."
