This series contains correspondence from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to Lucile Swan and from Claude Cuenot to Lucile Swan, most of which appear in The Letters of Teilhard de Chardin and Lucile Swan edited by Thomas M. King, SJ, and Mary Wood Gilbert (Washington, D.C.: Georgetown University Press, 1993). The pages on which the published letters appear are indicated in this finding aid in parentheses, e.g., (p. 20).

Contains ALS with postmarked envelope (2 pages/1 sheet, with printed calling card) from Claude Cuenot (a mutual friend of Teilhard de Chardin's and biographer) to Lucile Swan. References to a memorial held in honor of Teilhard de Chardin by French Radio ORTF. Speakers included Pierre Leroy. Also mentions a book he has written on Teilhard de Chardin.
