King, SJ, and Mary Wood Gilbert (Washington, D.C.: Georgetown University Press, 1993). The pages on which the published letters appear are indicated in this finding aid in parentheses, e.g., (p. 20).

Written from Paris, Teilhard reiterates his views on his relationship with Swan: "For almost twenty years, you have always helped me (and I have tried to help you) to go up toward an always more luminous and warm God..."
