Contains TLS in English from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin to Lucile Swan (2 pages/1 sheet with postmarked envelope). Written from Paris. With references to dining with Frederic Joliot-Curie. Most importantly relays news that his superiors in Rome had received the manuscript of his five lectures on man (originally given at La Sorbonne, Paris), and had sent suggestions for some minor revisions without much censure. Also news of finding a publisher for a book about his sister, Marguerite Marie Teilhard de Chardin (by her friends with a preface by Teilhard de Chardin). Other news of friends Rhoda and daughter Noel de Terra, as well as of Eleanore Tafel. (p.258-9)
