Contains photographs and postcards of Old Salem, North Carolina. Includes a postcard depicting Pocahontas; 3 color photos and slides of a painting of Caroline Juliana Vierling (born 1795), aunt of Charles Kremer (1805-1851) whose first daughter, Sophie Caroline married Dr. Thomas Dickinson Kernan, TDK's grandfather; pictures of Vierling House built by Samuel Benjamin Vierling in 1800; as well as b/w photos of heirlooms of the Kremer-Vierling families.
