Contains correspondence from Lilian Mowrer, wife of Edgar Mowrer, to LS. Includes printed material (brochures) re. her writing and especially the Umano Foundation. Umano, penname for Gaetano Meale (1858-1927) was an Italian thinker and advocate of world peace. The Umano Foundation, a nonprofit organization, was established by Thom and Lorry Gambino and Lilian Mowrer to foster and promote public knowledge of Umano, with whom the Mowrers shared a close friendship.
