Discussion of relations with Iran, Turkey, Iraq, the United States, and the Soviet Union; Faiz Mohamed; the Asiatic Pact; the Middle Eastern Four-Power Pact (Saadabad Pact); Soviet Central Asia; "the Fundamental Principles of the Government of Afghanistan" and Afghan law; the legal status of foreigners; and the escape of Mohamed Umar Khan from India. Includes reports by Loy W. Henderson and Herschel V. Johnson; includes reports # 1080, 1087, 1099, 586, 584, 3453, 3581, and 50.
