Container Summary

21 copy letters and telegrams, many to and from Cornelius Van H. Engert and Ernest Bristow of the British Consulate in Tabriz, all regarding an incident at Saoj Bulagh (Soujbulak), Persia near Azerbaijan where Kurds invaded the village, killed a French missionary and detained several American women missionaries for several days. Accounts of the incident are given, with references to Simko, the Kurdish chieftain.
